Halloween

October is becoming as crazy as December. At the end of October we had a fun shower for Cassie and our baby Carson. It turned out to be such a nice night. We had it at Riki's house and we ate soup and bread and some really yummy dessert. We played some silly games. The first one was we put candy bars in diapers and then we melted them and so it looked like poop and people had to guess which candy bar it was. Then we were all given a piece of bubble gum and we chewed it up and then with a toothpick we had to create a baby out of the gum. It was gross and actually really hard. Cassie got a lot of nice things thanks to a family who is very supportive. We love all you guys. Then we a day before Halloween Kesley had her parade at school and then right after she had her program it was darling they did a great job and sang lots and lots of cute songs. Then we had about an hour break, then headed back to Kelsey's to throw a Halloween party. Kacey's mom was in charge of the treat and drink, then Emily's mom did the craft, and Melissa's mom played don't eat Pete, and I played musical chairs with them. It was a lot of fun and I think everyone had a bast. But that was not it, next we had Derek's parade and program which was also very very cute we absolutely love Miss Kristy she is the best. That night we had a war party and did the whole trunk or treat thing it was fun to see all the neighborhood kids. We love where we are and have a great neighborhood.

Not to mention they still went trick or treating on Halloween and got way to much candy.

I can not believe she is TWO

Happy birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Brooke. Happy birthday to you.

You've had a birthday shout hooray we want to sing to you today one year older and wiser too Happy Birthday (Clap) to you.

It seems like it was yesterday that we were having you in the hospital. We love our Brooke. The day started out a little crazy. I had Super Saturday that I was in charge of. I needed to be to the church by 8:30 and I was there until 2:45. My children let me know how sad it was that I wouldn't be there on Brooke's birthday. Tom took over though and took the kids four wheeling for a little while and then home to take a nap so we could have a fun evening. So when I got home Brooke was napping. When she woke up we went down to Black Island Farms for her little birthday celebration. She saw animals and saw pigs race, went down some slides an took a hay ride to pick out a pumpkin. She loved it.

We then went and got Brooke's favorite food french fries. Well Brooke you will eat just about anything but you love your french fries, Lay off her she is starving. Then Brooke actually got to open a couple of presents from her Grandma and Grandpa Steed. She got a stroller and a baby carrier. She loved them. We got her a little baby care center that she can give her baby a bath or put her to bed. She loves babies and she is very loving and nurturing all ready. It is really weird to have a daughter who is into girly things just because Kelsey really never was.

Then on Sunday the day after her birthday we celebrated with the family. She was so cute and the Koellikers were even there. Brooke you are one special little girl. We opened presents in which she got clothes clothes clothes and then Grandma Shelly gave her a baby doll who's name is Shelly which is very fitting since it is Brooke Shelly Steed and when you ask Brooke her name she often answers Shelly. Thanks to all who gave her a gift we love you all. Brooke loved it all. After we open gifts we go around and give everyone a hug and kiss and tell them thank you Brooke even did this she was very very cute. Brooke so many people love you and you are a Child of God don't you ever forget that. We hope you had a good birthday we love you baby!
